084 | zach: let forever be delayed
After many months of holing up inside my apartment due to the emergence of a novel coronavirus, I decided to hit the road last month. It proved to be an immeasurably grounding experience, offering tangible proof that the world is bigger than the inside of my own head.
It's hard to avoid a sort of wistfulness whenever you take a long drive and find yourself in gigantic, wide-open spaces. I listened to a lot of emotionally vulnerable music that I've loved for a long time, along with some new favorites. This isn't the most cohesive mix I've ever made, but I think it captures some essential feeling of being out in the world, tuned to a strange frequency, trying to reach some far off point on the horizon.
Special thanks to Radha V and Sam S for their contributions.
